On arrival we have sheltered areas and some seating pods if you get caught out in the Great British Weather!!

Here are some FAQs

1- where are you located? We are in the woods so no post code.. but we are just outside of Hale on the boarder of Ashley South Manchester. See walking routes. 

 

2- Where can we park? there’s no parking at the woods you have to follow a walking route on our website. https://www.intothewildbushcraft.co.uk/walking-routes

3- Are dogs allowed? yes allowed on leads in the woodland but not allowed in our woodland lodge. They are not allowed at any of our events unless stated otherwise. Please keep dogs on a lead and not running through crops.. stick to the footpath provided. 

 

4- do I need to book to come? no booking required unless it’s an event such as music night or film night etc.. https://www.intothewildbushcraft.co.uk/events

age restrictions apply to some. Please check when booking. 

 

5- do you have toilets? Yes.. basic toilets but clean. We also have a disabled toilet and changing unit.

 

6- What do I wear? Suitable clothing for the weather.. it’s not muddy in the woods but your walk to us may be. 

 

7- I booked and I can’t find my booking email?! If you booked we have your name and you will be asked on entry to any of our ticketed events. You will also get an email the day before the event or a txt. Please try your Junk folder also and type the word Wix in to search or into the wild.

 

8- What are your openings hours? 8-4:30 Monday to Friday unless event is on.. 9-6 Saturday Sunday unless events on. Please check our Instagram for updates.. @intothewildcoffeeshack

 

9- Can we bring picnic? In order to avoid going bust we need to be able to sell things.. so sorry no. If you’re seen picnicking you will be asked to leave. Our facilities are for customers only. We don’t charge admission we just ask for your custom.. If its something particular such as serious allergies please bring your own. 

 

10- Can I drop someone off and then park elsewhere? No. No parking at the woods. Any parked cars at the woods or blocking the track will be accidentally squashed by a tractor. 

 

11- Do we serve food? Yes breakfast wraps and wood fired pizza. Pizza served generally Saturday and Sunday and some weekdays when events are on. Our breakfast wraps are bacon and egg wraps, we also serve veggie bratwurst and kids hot dogs.

 

12- How much is food? Pizza £10-13.50 for 12 inch sourdough and £3-4.80 for wraps. 

 

13- do we serve gluten free pizza? sorry no. But you can bring a base and we can do the rest. 

 

14-Do we serve alcohol? yes we have a full license and serve a good variety. License is from 12pm until 10pm. 

 

15- is it lit? Yes lights in the woods but walk to us isn’t lit so bring torch. 

 

16- The weather is bad are you open? Yes unless stated on social media otherwise. 

 

17- Do you take cash or card? both please bring Cash as our payment device often goes down..

 

18- I have heard nothing about my booking other than a thanks for booking email?! That’s fine we may not contact you until a day before and the email may go to your junk.. please type wix into your search.. all events will be going ahead unless you’ve had a message or phone call to inform you otherwise. 

 

19- Is it suitable for children. It’s suitable for all ages especially children. We have play equipment and of course the woodland.. 

 

20- can we private hire? Yes but it depends on what is required. Please email about this. 

 

21- can we book a table.? Yes if you wish but there’s really no need unless you have a party over 15 or so. Please email if you wish to book a group booking on a non late opening night. We may be able to accommodate.

22- When do you serve pizza? We serve pizza Saturday Sunday 12-6pm sometimes later... we also serve it during school holidays please see our socials for live updates on this.

23- Its my birthday or we are celebrating something can we book it? You can just turn up and have a pizza and some drinks no need to book.. but please no balloons or decorations. We have plenty of space under shelter. If you wish to hire exclusively please see our page. Then you can add decorations but no balloons or plastic rubbish.
